Tapioca Starch

Tapioca Starch

The organic tapioca is one of the most cost effective ingredients in organic baking.   It is also very verastile, being bland and having no flavour of it’s own, it easily takes up the flavours of other ingredients.

It is also smooth, helping reduce the ‘grittiness’ in gluten free breads and cakes.

Tapioca is a very versatile product, used in the bakery industry, for binding, thickening and to add body.

It is also used in cheese making, small goods manufacturing, ice-cream, etc apart from the well known forms of grandma’s sago puddings, or the more modern forms of bubble tea (with tapioca pearls).
