Rice Flour

Our Gluten Free Rice Flour is a form of flour made from finely milled rice. It is one of the foundation ingredients in gluten-free baking and a a popular thickening agent because it has the ability to prevent liquid separation. High in beneficial fiber, rice flour is a great substitute for wheat flour, since most wheat flour contains gluten. Tradelink has been working with our supply chain for over 10 years now and we have always selected our rice from the finest crops in Argentina.

The product is free from antibiotic, insecticide and herbicide residues and chemical fertilizer and TradeLink International works with quality assurance certifiers such as Control Union to check each container load as it is loaded.

Raw Organic Cacao Nibs

cacao-nibs

Made from Raw Organic Cacao Beans grown in the Peruvian Mountains, our cacao nibs come from de-husking or peeling whole cacao beans and then crumbling them into nibs. These raw nibs are crunchy, flavorful, and packed with powerful nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber. These cacao products cater to the consumer who appreciates the cacao’s natural nutritional benefits. These products are not toasted, which means they are technically “raw” because they are processed at low temperatures (below 45ºC (110ºF)) which preserves the beans natural health properties.

Cacao is considered as one of the best anti oxidants due to its high poly-phenol content and high mineral content. These products have no additives, and are free of allergens, GMO, BSE/TSE and any irradiation process.

Each order is tested regardless of whether the batch has already been tested and we look for moisture content to be below 18% as well as pesticides and heavy metals, all of which must comply with the legislation of the country of destination for it to pass our QA controls.

Red Kidney Beans

Red Kidney Beans

Our Red Kidney Beans are a variety of the common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), native to South America. Kidney beans are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, such as molybdenum, folate, iron, copper, manganese, potassium, vitamin K1 and phosphorus.

These popular beans are kidney shaped and are especially good in simmered dishes where they absorb the flavors of seasonings and the other foods with which they are cooked.

Our Red Kidney Beans are typically harvested at complete maturity as dry beans, requiring around 95 days from germination to harvest, we can offer both conventional and organic.

TradeLink International sources their beans from the northern regions of Argentina, mainly Salta, but also regions such as Tucuman and neighbouring regions.

Each order is tested regardless of whether the batch has already been tested and we look for moisture content to be below 18% as well as pesticides and heavy metals, all of which must comply with the legislation of the country of destination for it to pass our QA controls.

Decorticated Chickpeas

Chickpeas

Chickpeas have one of the highest nutritional compositions of any dry edible legume. These chickpeas have a specialized skin removal process obtained by passing through abrasive steps, keeping the proteins and nutrients of the chickpea unharmed.

Decorticated chickpeas are ideal for obtaining a smoother flour with no dark discoloration and much finer as the thick skin has been removed.

TradeLink International sources their beans from the northern regions of Argentina, mainly Salta, but also regions such as Tucuman and neighbouring regions.

Organic Tapioca Syrup

Organic Tapioca Syrup

The source of tapioca syrup is cassava, or manioc. A brown-skinned tuberous root that grows in parts of Asia, Africa, and South America, cassava is plucked from the ground, ground into starch, and then, with the helpful use of acid hydrolysis or modern-day enzymes, broken down further into syrup.

High in starch, tapioca syrup is commonly used in the production of other foods or as a replacement for corn syrup, sugar, honey, maple syrup and molasses in baked goods. Tapioca syrup provides the sweetness needed in a natural way. When used as a binding agent, tapioca helps to keep foods such as meats from drying out after they are processed.

Depending on the application, tapioca syrup can impart a rich flavor or be used as a color-and-flavor-neutral base for confections and beverages. The syrups are highly soluble and provide immediate, long-term and balanced energy release through the distribution of simple and complex carbohydrates.

What exactly does IQF mean?

IQF is an abbreviation of lndividually Quick Frozen. This means that from the moment that our vegetables are harvested and until they are frozen, many things take place. The production is classified and placed in categories so as to ensure that only the most tender and sweet vegetables are packed. Progress in IQF technology has made it possible to achieve quicker methods of freezing. Most vegetables, the sooner they are frozen, the better they maintain their texture and flavor.

Puffed Amaranth

Puffed Amaranth

Amaranth has been cultivated as a grain for thousands of years, and hence it is known as one of the ancient grains. Amaranth, also known as "kiwicha," is a tiny, ancient grain-like seed, dense in nutrients and high in protein. To make Puffed Amaranth, tiny seeds of amaranth are heated until they "puff," increasing their volume and creating a light, crunchy, popped version with a toasty, nutty flavor.

The amaranth plant usually grows to around five or six feet and is maroon or crimson in color. The seeds of the plant number in the thousands and are tiny. Amaranth seeds are processed into popped, flaked, extruded and ground flour forms. They are used in snacks, cereal and nenergy bars, cereals, cooked in tradional dishes and in combination with other grains and flours in the baking industry.

TradeLink's supplies mainly come from South America: Argentina, Paraguay, Boliva and Peru.   In certain seasons India can fill in.  It is described as "the crop of the future”. It has been proposed as an inexpensive native crop that could be cultivated by indigenous people in rural areas for the following reasons reasons:

-It is easily harvested.

-Its seeds are a good source of protein.

-Contains about thirty percent more protein than cereals like rice, sorghum and rye

-It is easy to cook

TradeLink would like to be the supplier of Amaranth of your choice - please contact us to get more information or a quote.

Navy Beans

navy beans from Argentina

Navy Beans

Argentina’s production of Navy Beans is modern and highly productive and the harvest happens off season to the production in USA, which makes Argentina a great option to stock this product while supplies in the US may be low.

Navy Beans aren’t navy coloured as you may think, but a whitish colour and is a popular candidate for baked beans. Its flavour is typical of the kidney bean family, slightly nutty with a mild earthiness taste.

TradeLink International sources their beans from the northern regions of Argentina, mainly Salta, but also regions such as Cordoba and Tucuman.
Each order is tested regardless of whether the batch has already been tested and we look for moisture content to be below 18% as well as pesticides and heavy metals, all of which must comply with the legislation of the country of destination for it to pass our QA controls.

Navy Bean products available:

  • A grade Navy Beans
  • Milling Grade Navy Beans
  • Conventional and organic
